Catherine has long believed that businesses succeed through their people. So in founding Clearlink HR, she aspired to provide HR expertise to clients in a slightly unconventional way.

In addition to running the commercial side of Clearlink HR, Catherine also works to Executive level as an independent HR Consultant. She supports Managing Directors and top teams at client businesses with strategic workforce issues: acting as a trusted advisor and critical friend. She has excellent working relationships with senior leaders, achieved through careful understanding of their organisations. She helps them deliver positive outcomes in relation to, for example; managing workforce risk, pay and reward strategy, Board liaison, influencing the shape and size of the workforce, and thinking about ‘Employer Brand’.

Prior to establishing Clearlink HR, Catherine worked as a Senior HR Business Partner in the public and charity sectors, having initially worked in retail HR. Catherine completed a Graduate Training Scheme in the NHS; a degree of Master of Arts in Personnel and Development at Liverpool John Moores University; and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree at The University of Leeds.

Outside of Clearlink HR, Catherine can be found spending time with her family, walking Border Terriers Zack and Jess, sampling various Gins and Tonics, and (occasionally!) baking profiteroles and pavlovas.
